holy crap, what is up with this week?

it's like everyone i know (and don't) has picked horsesup off their stack of cds (or mp3s) to listen to again.

including me.

(i am helium raven and this movie is mine.)

We have very similar tastes musically, which is why I think you should give Dinosaur Jr. another try. "Where you Been" is probably their best overall record. The guitar breaks make it all worthwhile, peals of melodic Neil Young mind blowing goodness. If you don't like that one, then okay that band is just not for you and we all move on with our lives.

I've been fairly indifferent towards Dinosaur Jr., pretty much always. I have three cds, all post-Barlow, none of which have ever grabbed me. Now, when a song comes on shuffle, at first I'm bored. BUT: I have noticed, with Where You Been at least, that if I'm not paying attention, the "Neil Young mind blowing goodness" does emerge from the mix, so that I'm at least happy enough to hear them in that context...

Looks good to me.
