I bought the Dillard & Clark album while I was in Louisville and basically just drove around all weekend with the album on repeat. I knew I'd find a Gene Clark album that would knock me out! It's wonderful.

That Papa M alb sure does have the Slint-iest post-Slint Pajo material.
I prefer the slightly gnarlier "Heater" album from Crain, but for god's sakes, "Speed" is righteous, too.

I had Heater back when I was in high school but have no idea what I ever did with it. Speed was on eMusic but Heater seems to be OOP, unfortunately.
