I Guess You Just Fill in the Blanks

In light of the posts that have been occupying my thoughts lately (particularly this one and this one), I got a kick out of this short post I stumbled across at a blog called Allan’s World Music, My Path to Finding Indie Rock, mostly because Allan seems to be about ten years younger than me, so all of his reference points are different—Linkin Park instead of Metallica, Arcade Fire instead of Slint. But the sentiment is the same.
