More songs I've discovered since January that have been sticking. Have a ball. All of these songs, except for the last one, come once again courtesy my two favorite mp3 blogs (if you haven't guessed yet): The Rising Storm and Setting the Woods on Fire.
- Gilberto Gil, "Geléia Geral" (from Tropicália: ou Panis et Circenses, 1968)
This has become one of my favorite Gil songs. - The Nightcrawlers, "If You Want My Love" (from Little Black Egg, 1966)
- Lefty Frizzell, "Always Late with Your Kisses" (from The Best of Lefty Frizzell, 1951)
This is like the quintessential old-school country song. - The Lovin' Spoonful, "Nashville Cats" (from Hums of the Lovin' Spoonful, 1966)
I wish I were a good enough guitar-picker to play this song. I'd love to be able to play this for my nephews and neices. - Royal Wood, "A Mirror Without" (from A Good Enough Day, 2008)
Hey Scott, Thanks for the kind words about my site!

Of course Paul! I hadn't truly realized how many great songs I was downloading from your site (and the Rising Storm) until I started putting these posts together and every other mp3 was via you or via RS.

That Royal Wood track is pretty good, no?
