Yesterday Rawkblog wrote a post on the Vivian Girls, a band I've actually never heard beyond the briefest of snippets in a friend's apartment a few weeks back. This sparked a really interesting conversation between Marc Offnotesnotes, Matthew Fluxblog, Sam Raptoravatar, Dave Rawkblog, myself, and a few others. Then that splintered into another conversation that also saw Tom Freaky Trigger and Eric Marathonpacks, among others, join in.
The threads are a little confusing to follow; sometimes a new comment will appear in the middle rather than at the end, and all the indenting gets a little nutty.
