Two new acquisitions this week: Hex Enduction Hour and Catacombs. The latter (happily) came from a publicist, the former dl'd from eMusic upon an appeal to my fellow tumblrers. Both are shaping up to be pretty great, though each is more or less the opposite of the other. Perhaps that's why my interest in both has remained engaged—one is the antidote to the other and vice versa.
- The Fall: Classical
yeah, I'd put off listening to the Fall for the longest time; when I finally did, I was astonished at how great Hex Enduction Hour is...

That's exactly my current situation. Now I've got three or four more albums saved on my eMusic account for future consumption.

I love Hex Enduction Hour...I don't what I can say about it. Lean, muscular, mighty. "Jawbone" is MES at his most poetic and caustic. "Fortress/Deer Park" is my favorite.
