You may or may not follow me over at Incidentals & Accidentals, my tumblr account. In fact I barely follow myself there! I post about as sporadically there as I do here, lately at least. Usually I'm just reblogging other people's great song choices. Since it happens in a kind of one-song-at-a-time, real-time format, I sometimes am pleasantly surprised to realize I've created an enjoyable mix to pass the time. This morning I logged in and simply pressed play on the black bar at the bottom of the screen and have been enjoying a mixture of well-loved favorites (the Byrds, Faust, Fugazi, Eno), semi-forgotten faves of yore (Mouse on Mars, Flying Saucer Attack), and new songs that scored with a great first impression (Ariel Pink, Oval).
