I'm not sure what triggered it but I suddenly had a yearning to delve back into old-school releases from Kranky. Only problem is I don't have much in my iTunes library. I was heavy into vinyl around the same time I was heavy into Kranky, and what I still own from the label is mostly tucked away with my other records. So here's a quickly assembled collection of youtube videos, for the hell of it.
Jessamine: All the Same
Labradford: Pico
Stars of the Lid: Dungtitled (in A Major)
Bowery Electric: Fear of Flying
Pan*American: The Dark Next
What's your preferred Pan*American album? Only one I have is White Bird Release. Considered one of the four RRRecords had in stock today, then opted to play it safe with Oneohtrix Point Never's Returnal.

Well, you can't go wrong with Returnal - one of my favorites of the year.
For Pan*American, I only know the first two, and a 12" I have from FatCat. Both albums are great; I have a fondness for the first, s/t album, which the above clip is from. It's very dubby throughout. That clip gives a good impression of what the whole thing sounds like. I've been meaning to check out some of his later stuff but haven't yet...
